My name is Sophia and I have been playing piano for  20 years. I initially trained in Classical music and then moved on to studying a degree in Popular Music Performance. 

I believe music should be a skill that lasts a lifetime and so I aim to give students a solid foundation of the basics and techniques. This makes it a lot easier to build your musicianship in a way that feels authentic to you. After a student feels comfortable with the basics, we can move on to either classical, pop or songwriting. 

I am able to take students through grades but also am a big believer in music just for the sake of it! 

 

Please note, I have 2 cats and live in a second floor flat, unfortunately there is no lift.
